Junior Keeper for the Day

Come and join our keeper team for a fun-packed 3.5 hours and learn what it takes to look after some of the smaller residents we care for.

A unique behind the scenes experience discovering what it’s like to feed, clean and care for a variety of furry, feathered and scaly friends! You’ll meet some mischievous meerkats and a lovely Barn owl called Oakley. You’ll also take a step into the wonderful world of reptiles and mini beasts, getting close to some of our rescued residents.

  • Fun packed 3.5 hours including close-up animal encounters.

  • Refreshment break with the keepers where you can enjoy a drink and snack in our tea room.

  • Keeper t-shirt and cap – to wear on the day and take home.

  • Goodie bag.

  • USB stick containing photo’s of your special day.

  • Free entry into the sanctuary for you and an accompanying adult, so you can stay all day!

£90 for one person or £80 each for two people

T&Cs: Children must be between 8 – 15yrs and accompanied by an adult. Some of the experience takes place outdoors so please come prepared for all weathers General admission is included for the participant and an accompanying adult. Additional guests will need to pay. The accompanying adult will not take part in the experience or access any behind the scenes areas, however, may follow the group and be kept busy with lots of great photo opportunities!
